Master Functional Blood testing and elevate your practice in 8 weeks.
Your patients deserve better than 'normal' lab results while they're still suffering.
Stop referring your toughest cases out! This groundbreaking program is the only one teaching acupuncturists how to find root causes in lab work using Eastern and functional medicine principles.
Your pulse diagnosis says blood deficiency. Their doctor says labs are 'normal.' Who's right?
You are. But today’s patients want data.
Here's the solution: Run a simple lab test (same one their GP uses), but read it through an Eastern medicine lens that catches what doctors miss.
Labs don't replace pulse and tongue diagnoses - they validate them in language your patients understand

FAQ
Functional Medicine Fall Cohort - Frequently Asked Questions
1. How is this different from other lab interpretation courses?
This is the ONLY program specifically designed for acupuncturists that teaches functional lab interpretation through an Eastern medicine lens. Instead of abandoning your pulse and tongue diagnosis skills, you'll learn to validate them with Western data. I've spent over 10 years developing this unique integration approach that bridges ancient wisdom with modern patient expectations. Other programs teach generic functional medicine – this program teaches you to be a more complete acupuncturist.
2. I already know how to read basic labs. What will I learn that I don't already know?
Basic lab interpretation looks at "normal" vs. "abnormal" ranges. My program teaches you to find patterns that validate Eastern medicine diagnoses within those "normal" ranges. You'll learn why a patient with kidney yang deficiency might have a TSH of 3.5 (conventionally normal) but poor T4 to T3 conversion, elevated reverse T3, and suboptimal cortisol patterns. I'll show you how to spot blood stasis through inflammatory markers, spleen qi deficiency through digestive and absorption indicators, and liver qi stagnation through hormone metabolism patterns – all using standard lab panels.
3. Will this replace my traditional acupuncture diagnostic methods?
Absolutely not! This program enhances and validates your existing diagnostic skills. Your pulse and tongue diagnoses are incredibly accurate – this program teaches you to prove it with data your patients understand. When you can tell a patient "your pulse shows blood deficiency, and your lab work confirms this with low ferritin, B12 deficiency, and poor protein markers," you become the practitioner who speaks both languages fluently. This integration builds patient trust and justifies premium pricing.
4. Do I need to order special functional medicine labs, or can I use standard lab panels?
You'll primarily work with the same standard lab panels your patients are already getting from their doctors – CBC, CMP, lipid panels, and basic thyroid tests. I'll teach you everything you need to know to order labs. The course covers how to extract functional medicine insights from these routine tests. We'll also cover when to add specific markers like homocysteine, CRP, or vitamin D, but the foundation is reading standard labs through a functional lens that most practitioners miss completely.
5. How will this impact my practice revenue, and will patients pay more for this service?
Students typically see 40-60% revenue increases within 3-6 months by: (1) Retaining complex cases instead of referring them out, (2) Offering comprehensive consultations that command higher fees, (3) Improving patient outcomes which increases retention and referrals, and (4) Positioning themselves as the integrative practitioner in their area. When patients finally understand WHY they feel the way they do through lab validation of your diagnoses, they become your most loyal advocates and are willing to invest in comprehensive care.
6. What if I can't attend all the live sessions? Will I still get the CEUs?
All live sessions are recorded and available for makeup viewing, but you must attend at least 75% of the live sessions to receive your 24 Category 1 CA CEUs. The Friday mastermind sessions are also recorded, though the real-time interaction and case discussions provide the most value. If you know you'll miss multiple sessions, consider my one-on-one coaching option instead, or wait for a future cohort when your schedule allows for more consistent participation.
